Celebrate summer on the avenue at the Art Around Adams craft, art and music fair on Saturday, June 1st! From Noon – 8:00 p.m., enjoy a 2-mile stretch of Adams Avenue in a friendly, relaxed and carefree environment where tastemakers and free thinkers mix freely with family and friends. There will be artist galleries setup at restaurants and bars along the route, and Kid Zones found throughout the event. Stroll the entire route or take the complimentary “Comedy Trolley”, the event is FREE FUN for attendees of all ages.

 

San Diego Bay Fest | Saturday, June 1st

Looking to get down on Saturday, June 1st? Get your tickets to San Diego Bayfest! The music festival, which runs from Noon – 10:00 p.m. will take place at Embarcadero Marina Park North. National headlining entertainment, such as Slightly Stoopid and Trible Seeds, is expected to draw 7,000+ attendees, and you won’t want to miss out! There will also be delicious specialty foods, craft beers, craft cocktails and fine wines, all presented by local restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. Local arts and crafts, as well as booths, will be on sale throughout the festival.

 

Champions League Final Viewing Party | Saturday, June 1st

All OMG Hospitality locations – Union Kitchen & Tap, Backyard, Waterbar and PB Alehouse – will be showing the Champions League Final on Saturday, June 1st beginning at Noon. The sound will be on and the crowds will be roaring as fans cheers for Liverpool or Tottenham, so don’t forget to wear your team’s jersey.

 

Taste of San Diego – East | Monday, June 3rd

On Monday, June 3rd, the 11th Annual Taste of San Diego – East will be held at the Town and Country Hotel in Mission Valley. General admission is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and VIP lasts from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Food and beverage vendors include Brigantine Restaurant, Cali Comfort BBQ, Surf Rider Pizza Co. and so many more! Tickets, which can be purchase via the event website, include unlimited visits to all vendors, so be sure to show up hungry.

 

San Diego Greek Festival | Friday, June 7th – Sunday, June 9th

In just seven days, the San Diego Greek Festival will be taking over the corner of Park Boulevard and Cypress Avenue for a weekend of fun! Festivities being Friday, June 7th at 5:00 p.m., and at 11:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. The Greek Festival is FREE for children under 12, active duty military and first responders, and a $3 donation for all other attendees. Enjoy authentic food, relax in the wine or beer garden, listen to live performances and watch Greek dancing, while the kids can play in the Kids’ Fun Zone!

 

San Diego Magazine’s Best Restaurants Party | Wednesday, June 12th

San Diego Magazine’s ‘Best Restaurants Party’, on Wednesday, June 12th, brings out the top chefs in the city for a celebration of culinary excellence. Winners from the June Best Restaurants issue will be serving their signature dishes to an intimate crowd. Watch the chefs and their teams in action as they artfully create the dishes that won our readers over, plus sample unlimited bites and beverages while listening to live music. San Diego International Beer Festival | Friday, June 14th – Sunday, June 16th

Get ready to raise a glass during San Diego’s International Beer Festival, which takes place Friday, June 14th through Sunday, June 16th at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. There will be 400+ brews served throughout the weekend, including beers from SoCal favorite breweries like Ballast Point, Alesmith Brewing Company, Mike Hess and Stone Brewing, among many others. There will also be classes on home brewing to learn more about topics like the science behind the suds and food pairings. There are plenty of ticket options, which can be viewed here. 25th Annual Taste of Gaslamp | Saturday, June 15th

Downtown San Diego is a mecca for restaurants and bars, and the Taste of Gaslamp Quarter event, on Saturday, June 14th, is a perfect opportunity to experience 35 different spots in one afternoon. From 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., dozens of chefs will be serving up their best bites to impress food fanatics who will gather in the Gaslamp to experience the neighborhood’s latest culinary offerings. General admission vendors include barleymash, Havana 1920, Theatre Box and many more, while VIP vendors also include STK, Volcano Rabbit, Searsucker and more. Join ginger’s, a trendy Gaslamp District spot, for a night filled with laughter at their Cocktails and Comedy event. From 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27th, the cocktail lounge will have an entertaining lineup of San Diego’s funniest comedians. Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy shareable appetizers upstairs at barleymash! Cocktails and Comedians is a FREE event (with a two-drink minimum), so arrive early to grab great seats – the doors open at 7:00 p.m.

 

Taste of Adams Avenue | Sunday, June 30th

June has been a month full of tasting events and we’re not done yet! On Sunday, June 30th the 19th Annual Taste of Adam’s Avenue will be taking to the streets along Adams Avenue from University Heights through Normal Heights to Kensington. This gastronomic trek will feature 48 restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars, breweries and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s hottest and historic neighborhoods. Participating venues include An’s Dry Cleaning, cucina Sorella, Kensington Brewery, Little Miss Brewing, The Rabbit Hole and much more. The event lasts from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., so get ready for a day full of delicious eats and drinks!
